Coffee Table NES Controller

So I am going to just straight up ask you guys to give me $3,500.00. And if you ask me why it is because I need this!

TheBohemianWorkBench is an Etsy store that has a lot of interesting things. But the thing that takes the cake is the wooden coffee table that is also a classic NES controller replica.

Pretty cool right? Yeah I thought so! OH did I forget to mention is is also fully functioning? Yeah there is that too!

Nintendo NES controller coffee table. Made from maple, mahogany and walnut with dovetail joinery and mid century modern legs.

This table fully functions as a Nintendo NES controller and can be used to play games with the glass removed. The cord is retractable from underneath. [product description on etsy]

So yeah that makes this like 20% cooler!

Figured I would shamelessly blog about some of my newer paintings. Been busy with several shows coming up, some commissions and fun little personal projects. Here are a few of my finished pieces.

Dazzle

This was a little painting I did in between paintings. It’s cute and for sale (and extremely inexpensive)

This one was a lot of fun to do. She is also sold but prints are available on my etsy and society6 page.

I fell in love with this piece. I really enjoy painting whimsical pretty pictures. This one was no exception (it also sold in under 5 minutes). BUT I do have prints of this piece as well.

This is a piece I did for a charity show called “Art Against Autism” it is for sale at Stage84 and proceeds go towards autism speaks.

Lastly my Spooky owl! I’m apart f the Starter Art show at Bear and Bird Gallery and I decided to do a “Flock of Barn Owls” so I’ll have 3-5 Owls at the show. The show is themed at affordable works f art so all my pieces will be under $100. After this show I will be pricing them to what would usually charge so it’s a good chance for people to get some owls (or other good art) at a fantastic price!

Draw Something :: Some of My Doodles

So like yesterday (or the day before) I was introduced to the new app sensation “Draw Something” and HOLY CRAP have I fallen in love with it. The game vaguely reminds me of the long lost Broken Picture Telephone (RIP BPT), and that is immensely amusing. It’s fun, and addicting and I have been playing it non stop.

So since it has only been a few days I still haven’t completely got the whole “drawing mechanics” down yet and my doodles are quite primitive, but I am getting better so hooray! I figured I would share some of my favorite ones with you. As I play more I will probably spam the crap out of this blog with updated doodles. Be warned.
